Information

Getting there

Windsor has two train stations, Windsor & Eton Riverside from Waterloo, or Windsor & Eton Central which connects at Slough to GWR services from Paddington and the Elizabeth Line. The wedding venue is a short walk from both Windsor stations, or is accessible via taxi from Slough station.

Accommodation

Windsor and the surrounding area are well provisioned with hotels and B&B’s, and there is plenty of AirBnB accommodation.

There are multiple Travelodge and Premier Inn hotels in Windsor and the surrounding area, as well as a Holiday Inn Express (Maidenhead, Slough and Staines are all a short distance from Windsor and Bray).

Other hotels in and near Windsor and Bray include Oakley Court Hotel, Sir Christopher Wren, Macdonald Hotel Windsor

Children

Due to limited space, this will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of immediate family.
Thank you so much for your understanding.

FAQS

I’m driving, where can I park?

Windsor has a number of carparks you can use.  The cheapest option for long stays are the carparks adjacent to Home Park (more info here).  You will need to get a taxi from the reception back to your car if driving home (see below).

When will we eat?

The wedding meal will be served shortly after we arrive at Bray Marina, so please make sure you have a hearty breakfast or early lunch.  Please use the RSVP form to let us know of any dietary requirements.

Should we pre-book taxis from Bray Marina to our accommodation or train stations at the end of the night?

As we are getting a boat from Windsor to Bray Marina, you’ll need to take a taxi back to your accommodation, car or the train station. There are a number of taxi companies in the area, and Uber /Bolt/  Lift apps are well-serviced with drivers locally. To pre-book taxis we recommend Windsor Cars and 5 Star taxis.

Is there much walking? I am wearing heels!

There is an 8 minute walk down the hill from Windsor Guildhall to the Windsor Promenade.
